Introducing Circle Search and Push-to-Talk Dictation
Biome 1.5 adds two new ways to work with your Mac without breaking flow: Circle Search for anything you can see, and push-to-talk dictation for anything you need to write.
Circle Search
Circle part of your screen, ask what you want to know, and Biome reads the selected area in context. It is built for screenshots, error messages, charts, UI mockups, receipts, and any moment where pointing is faster than explaining.
Push-to-Talk Dictation
Hold your dictation shortcut, speak naturally, and Biome turns it into text for the app you were already using. It keeps the transcript on your clipboard too, so Command-V is ready if macOS blocks automatic paste.
Built into Biome
Both tools now run inside the main Biome app. Microphone, screen recording, and accessibility permissions all belong to one visible app, with no separate companion download or login item to manage.
Why it matters
Biome is becoming less like a place you switch to and more like an assistant that is available wherever the work happens. Circle something. Say something. Keep moving.
Biome 1.5 is available now for macOS 13 and newer.
